The Certified Open programme has a 3 Month Trial period running until end January 2008.  During this period all accreditations will be free of charge and submissions will remain confidential.

The trial provides an opportunity to identify potential improvements in the current accreditation submission process and the self-assessment questionnnaire.  It allows suppliers to validate products and services and identify concerns which can be addressed prior to the formal Certified Open launch, and end-users to evaluate the impact of lock-in within their current solutions.

Certified Open will use this trial to gather feedback on the programme and to introduce improvements prior to general release in 2008.

The participate in the trial please follow these steps:

Step 1 Read and agree to the Certified Open Operating Principles, the Memorandum of Understanding, the Terms and Conditions and the Code of Conduct.

Step 2 Download the Certified Open Product and Services Framework for a full explanation of certification questions and the definitions used.

Step 3 Complete the on-line certification process through the product database.  You will receive confirmation of your certification once it is reviewed by a Certified Open officer.
