This section applies to the Certified Open Product and Services Framework

Step 1 Ensure you have read fully the Certified Open Operating Principles, and that your organisation is ready to accept the Terms and Conditions and the Code of Conduct.

Step 2 Download the Certified Open Product and Services Framework, which provides a full explanation of the questionnaire, the definitions used and explanation and help in answering each question.

Step 3 Complete the short questionnaire for each product you wish to certify. The questionnaire is in the form of a spreadsheet containing only 20 questions and have designed both to be rigorous but also straightforward to complete. The spreadsheet will indicate to you the ranking you are likely to achieve.

Step 4 Email the completed questionnaire and company registration form to the address indicated on the questionnaire.

Step 5 You will then receive confirmation of your certification, subject to receipt of relevant fees.
